We have been learning how to write correct sentences.
A sentence makes sense on it's own and usually has one simple idea or piece of information.
A simple scentence needs a subject and a verb . It needs a capital letter and full stop.
We wrote silly senteces then chose our favourite one to illustrate.

In the Beginning
In the beginning. Tu is the god of war. Rongo is god of agriculture. Tanemahuta is god of the forest. Tawhirimatea is god of wind. Tangaroa is the god of the sea. Haumia is god of food. They get cramped in between their parents Ranginui and Papatuanuku. They tried to push their parents apart but they couldn't, so Tanemahuta strethched out his legs and pushed. Then the parents were seperated, light came and then they were not cramped any more.
