Animal Town

This week we have used another picture as motivation for our writing. We had a story starter and then we had to carry on the story.
What I like about my writing is i wrote lots.
I need to improve on everything.

Here is my writing about Animal Town.
VRRRRMMMM!!!! I was going on an adventure in an old town until my map flew away. So I drove straight until I reached a sign, it said - Welcome to Animal Town. “What?” I drove under a big tree then I knew why it was called animal town. There was a gorilla sheriff and a sloth in a taxi and lots and lots of animals everywhere. I wanted to stay for a couple of weeks
I wasn’t scared they were really nice, until one day I woke up and heard a loud scream coming from town. I ran outside and looked at a car. It looked really familiar. “Oh no! It's the big bad wolf.” I ran to the telephone and rang 111. “111 what’s your emergency?” “The big bad wolf is back he's in the bank robbing it,”I shouted. “I’ll be there in a minute!” Then he arrested the big bad wolf.
After that  I went to have breakfast, I had a cereal called Snackimals. Then it was time to go to the animal park. So I got in my car and went to the animal park to play with some animals. When I got there I saw a little dog laying on the floor. So I walked over to the dog to see what happened. When I got there I saw a bite mark. So I picked it up and took him to the vet. Then a week later he was out playing again.

After all that I left animal town and went back to New Zealand. One day I wish to go back there again.
This week we have used another picture as motivation for our writing. We had a story starter and then we had to carry on the story.
What I like about my writing is nothing.
I need to improve on using more good words.

Here is my writing about Animal Town.

Pou

As part of our writing programme we have been doing environmental writing. We had to sketch an object and as we were sketching we wrote down thoughts that we had. Then we wrote our thoughts down  as a poem. We cut out the sketch and added this to our writing.

My balloon adventure Taylor Roberts

This week we have used a picture as motivation for our writing. We had a story starter and then we had to carry on the story. What I like about my writing is all my detail that I put in. I need to improve on doing capital letters when I am supposed to. We also made a google draw showing the things that we would take with us in our hot air balloon.
