Measuring heads

This week, we did measurement maths.  Mrs A had an idea about measuring heads. In our group we measured each others heads. First we got a piece of wool and then tied it around our heads. We trimmed the ends and then did an estimate of the length of wool.  Next we prepared a google slide and put all of the estimates of our heads and the real measurments on it.  Ricci-Lee had the biggest head and Ellie had the smallest head

Plate Tectonics

Kia Ora my name is Taylor Roberts. Last Friday we did a bit of science with Mrs B and Miss F.  The subject was plate tectonics.We learnt about all the different plate movements like divergent, convergent and transform and we also learned about how earthquakes formed New Zealand.
